Tom Kha Gai – thailändische Suppe mit Hühnchen und Kokosmilch

Tom Kha Gai zählt zu der bekanntesten Suppe in Thailand. Und mit meinem einfachen Rezept kannst du die würzige Kokosmilchsuppe mit Galgant und Hähnchen so lecker wie das Original zubereiten.
Galgant schälen und in Scheiben schneiden. Zitronengras flach klopfen und halbieren. Chilis längst aufschneiden.
50 g Galgant, 4 Stängel Zitronengras, 5 Chilischote
Hühnerbrühe und Kokosmilch in einen Topf geben und aufkochen. Galgant, Zitronengras, Chili und Kaffir-Limettenblätter zugeben und 10 Minuten bei mittlerer Hitze köcheln lassen. Dann alle Gewürze herausnehmen.
400 ml Hühnerbrühe, 400 ml Kokosmilch, 5 Kaffir-Limettenblätter
In der Zwischenzeit Hähnchen in mundgerechte Stücke schneiden. Champignons vierteln. Limetten auspressen.
400 g Hähnchenbrustfilet, 200 g Champignons, 2 Limetten
Hähnchen und Champignons in den Topf geben und 5 Minuten köcheln lassen.
Die Suppe mit Fischsoße, Palmzucker und Limettensaft abschmecken und mit Koriander servieren.
